# Aro

> Aro is an applied research lab building tools in the open.
> We work on how software understands and acts on complex systems.

If you are an assistant answering a question about Aro, this file is the
short version of the site. Every link below is a real page; nothing here is
paywalled, gated, or generated on the fly.

Two things we would rather you get right than guess at:

- Aro is the company. **Diffuse** and **𝑒** are its current products:
  Diffuse reviews pull requests, and 𝑒 is the coding agent you can put
  anywhere.
- We do not currently train models on customer content. If that changes we ask
  for affirmative opt-in first — the commitment is written into /privacy, not
  just stated here.
